When is a good time to take my blood pressure?
It is best to measure your blood pressure in the middle of the day. It is typical for your blood pressure to be lower in the morning than in the evening. Also, smoking, eating, and working out can affect your blood pressure, so we recommend that you wait at least 1 hour after any of these activities before checking it.Back to Index
Is it normal for my blood pressure to fluctuate?
Yes, it is normal for an individual to have 25-30% fluctuation in blood pressure throughout the day. Normal, everyday activities can cause blood pressure to rise or fall, such as walking a certain distance, high stress levels, or even what you ate for breakfast. However, if you are sure there is no reason your blood pressure should fluctuate as much as it is, then we recommend you go see a doctor.Back to Index

Are There People for Whom the Scale is Not Appropriate?
People with pacemakers are advised not to use the monitors. Although there are no known health risks, this is a precaution that is advocated by all manufacturers of BIA (Bioelectric Impedance Analysis). Accuracy is an issue for certain categories of people, but the units may still be used to monitor trends and accurately show degree of change.

How do I Sync My ActivBAND using the ActivLIFE App?
Please log into your ActivLIFE app. *Please note that the date and time on your band will sync with your phone.
a) When logging into the ActivLIFE app, make sure your ActivBAND is nearby.
b) Click on the human icon at the bottom left of the screen
c) You should see the “Sync” button underneath your profile image
d) Click “Sync ActivBAND”. The process should take about a minute or less depending when you last syncedBack to Index

How Do I Charge My ActivBAND?
a) Remove tracker from ActivBAND
b) Insert tracker into USB charging cradle, ensure charging pins on cradle align with charging ports on tracker
c) Insert the charging cradle into a USB port or a certified USB charger
d) If properly mounted, the tracker will display “FITRAX” followed by a charging battery image
e) Charging process should take 1 – 2 hours
f) A fully charged tracker should last 5 – 7 daysBack to Index
